  Aircraft  Equipment Suffixes  
 
Navigational suffixes, found on the aircrafts flight plan, are used to indicate the /type navigational equipment. It is important to consider the navigational suffix when providing ATC services. The common term for navigational equipment is 'slant'. Each suffix below would normally be displayed with a / before it.

Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), including GPS or Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS), with en route and terminal capability.

R

Required Navigational Performance (RNP). The aircraft meets the RNP type prescribed for the route segment(s), route(s) and/or area concerned.
