1. PURPOSE.
This Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) outlines the procedures to be used by controllers working Point Mugu Approach to ensure that arrival flows are handled in as efficient and timely a manner as possible.
2. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
The Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) for this SOP is the ZLA Senior Staff. This SOP was approved by the FAB on January 01, 2003. This SOP shall be maintained, revised, updated or canceled by the ZLA Senior Staff and Facility Engineering Team. Any suggestions for modification or amendment to this SOP should be sent to the OPR for review.
3. DISTRIBUTION.
This SOP is intended for use by controllers staffing Point Mugu Approach (NTD_APP)

- Point Mugu Ground 121.60
- Point Mugu Clearance Delivery 120.75
- San Clemente Tower 126.75
- San Clemente Ground 119.55
- San Nicholas Tower 126.85
- All other positions within the Point Mugu RAPCON will use frequencies prescribed in the Minor Airport Reference Sheet.
- Airspace
- Point Mugu Approach owns the airspace as shown on the RAPCON graphic from SFC-8000’
- Special Instructions
- KCMA/KOXR Arrivals will be received from the SOCAL Burbank Area established on the final approach course and cleared for the approach. These aircraft must be monitored and handled if they go missed
